Originally from suburban Detroit, I’ve lived in the S.F. Bay Area for over 30 years. I adopted my first cat, Idaho (named for the B-52’s “Private Idaho”) when I was in college at University of Michigan. I’ve been a cat dad for most of my adult life, but in recent years the places I’ve lived have forbidden pets.
When I saw Lisa’s ad for a facility assistant 5 years ago, I leapt at the opportunity. My resume included a photo of my Maine Coon giving me a kiss. I’ve been with Feline Wishes since July 2012, and never enjoyed a job more. My favorite thing to do at work is to see how many of our guests I can make purr over the course of a given workday.
I have a life-long passion for music and have attended well over 1,000 concerts, from Tony Bennett to Kanye West. One more thing: My unofficial job title is “the Cat Whisperer.”
